Day 3: Write a 100 word piece of Fiction with the topic Secret

Clara Just Before

Locust under foot, such a heartbreaking sound.   We see her lovely origami face through the curtains in front as she squints and holds up her tiny hand to the window, the thinnest silk over bird-bones.

I love the Foyer, the scent of old perfume and dead skin particles hovering thick in the air and lit by beams through old lace.

Charlie buries his wet snout in her side, his mane dominating her wisp of form while she smiles through the glittery afternoon haze.

“You know, I never did mess with another woman’s man….unless he asked me to.”

And Clara laughed.

Day 2: Write a nursery rhyme about a charcter residing in an odd place, and how they got there.

Plinkity ploppity plunk,
George dropped down with a clunk.
The water did rise and the marbles did gleam
as George looked at the turret's fake steam.

This is not George's big plan,
Where are the minions, where is his clan.
Into the castle he swims, with hopes up high,
To find only plastic, he let's out a sigh.

Flibbity Fib and Poopity Poo,
George sat by the castle in his angry Stew.
Where is my trident and where is my crown,
Poor Sea Monkey's day starts with a frown.

Day 1 - Write the last paragraph of your novel.

Did he think that I wouldn't be finding feathers and glitter in every corner of my house forever?  It didn't matter now because I will still pretend to see Spalding Gray when I go to the grocery store...I will still eat those Farmers Market tomatoes like apples...and I will still visit the Palgar with Marty.  This next time though, I'll wear boots.
